Bloomberg News yesterday published a report on the possible features of Apple’s augmented reality headset, which will probably be unveiled next year. There have been many reports about this headset over the past few years and it looks like it will finally hit the market in the near future.
The headset reportedly uses advanced chips, displays and sensors and launches with avatar-based capabilities. According to one of the published reports on this subject, the price of this headset will be at least $ 3,000. Apple has been trying to enter the virtual and augmented reality market for many years, and now, thanks to the M1 series chipsets that have surprised users, it can launch the above headsets with tremendous hardware power.
According to the report, Apple’s first headset will be a combination of reality, which means that in addition to virtual reality, it will also offer augmented reality features. Although various games have been developed based on augmented reality, attractive and high-level games are usually based on virtual reality. As a result, Apple plans to make professional virtual reality games with high graphics possible using its powerful chips and high-end displays.
Apple CEO Tim Cook has repeatedly mentioned the potential for augmented reality in his remarks, and a Bloomberg reporter wrote at the end of his report that we will have to wait a few more years to offer a versatile augmented reality headset.
